Understand the fundamental concepts behind NEXO
MEV (Maximal Extractable Value)
MEV refers to the maximum value that can be extracted from block production beyond the standard block reward and gas fees. On Solana, MEV bots monitor pending transactions and attempt to profit by reordering, inserting, or censoring transactions.
Common MEV Attacks
- •Front-running - Bots detect your pending trade and execute the same trade before you, profiting from the price movement
- •Sandwich Attacks - Your trade is sandwiched between two bot transactions that profit from the price impact you create
- •Back-running - Bots execute trades immediately after yours to capture arbitrage opportunities
Transaction Routing
NEXO uses intelligent routing to find the optimal execution path for your transactions across multiple liquidity sources. This ensures you get the best price with minimal slippage.
Protection Levels
- •Basic - Essential protection against common MEV attacks
- •Standard - Comprehensive protection with smart routing (recommended)
- •Maximum - Highest level of protection for sensitive transactions
Priority Fees
Solana uses priority fees to determine transaction ordering. NEXO dynamically calculates optimal priority fees based on network conditions, ensuring fast confirmation without overpaying.
